“Discover Shabbat”
Fourth Friday of each month 6:00 PM

Led by Rabbi Moshe Levin, Cantor Rudy Hassid and Achi Ben Shalom, this festive service is accompanied by musical instruments.  After the service, we adjourn to the social hall for a delicious dinner prepared by our in house catering committee.  Following the dinner there is entertainment in keeping with Shabbat.  This is a unique  experience for everyone; singles, couples and families.

Prayer Home Companion
Second Friday of each month 6:00 PM

Modeled after NPR’s tremendously successful variety show with Garrison Keillor, Rabbi Moshe Levin will tell stories from “Lake Won’tBeGone,” a fictitious but fascinating Orthodox neighborhood in the heart of Brooklyn, and will interview interesting guests. A contemporary Musical service  precedes Prayer Home Companion with Cantor Rudy Hassid and musician Achi Ben Shalom who will lead our contemporary services with new melodies,

The  evening is filled  with humor, Torah, and a feeling as warm as the Shabbat candles themselves! Come at 6 for candle lighting and Kabalat Shabbat.  Bring a dairy dish for our Pot Luck Dinner at 7 and you’ll have a fabulous time.  Don’t forget to be prepared to smile, laugh and sing!
